2015 SUZUKI RM-Z450

Suzuki’s 2015 RM-Z450 has a host of long overdue changes. While the motor has always been strong and smooth, the new bike benefits from a significantly improved chassis. Basically, the frame has been redesigned to increase flex and give the rider better feel. This takes away the rigid feel and harshness of the previous bike. Second, Suzuki has tossed away the spring in the SFF fork (Separate Function Fork) and joined the air-fork game with the Showa SFF-AIR fork.
Similar to the one found on Kawasaki’s KX450F, the new Showa SFF-AIR fork gives the 2015 RM-Z450 a unique feel. Handling is improved over the previous bike, although there are some drawbacks. Frankly, initial setup is a chore. First, you have to find a balance between the inner and outer air chambers, then you have to dial in the compression and rebound damping.
Once set up, the new open-class Suzuki motocrosser handles fantastic, but the feel is totally different than with a traditional spring fork. The harshness of the previous bike’s design has been reduced, and in some situations, it can be dialed out completely. I preferred a stiffer setting, which still meant I could feel a bit harshness through my hands.

Engine upgrades, which include a longer kick-start lever, a redesigned de-compressor, and a revised exhaust camshaft, plus a new kick-gear ratio and starter idle gear, make the Suzook easier to start. These mods also allowed for removal of the hot-start lever. Cooling has also been improved, thanks to a more efficient water pump (with a redesigned cover and Y-type hose connector) that allows water to flow more between radiators. The gearbox also has been improved to make shifting less clunky than with the previous RM-Z450.
Last, the 2015 Suzuki RM-Z450 has Holeshot Assist Control. In A-Mode, the ignition timing is altered to prevent wheel slip. But after 1.2 seconds (or when you reach third gear), the system shuts off and the engine returns to normal ignition timing. An indicator light flashes slowly to tell the rider he’s in A-Mode. B-Mode advances ignition timing for more power off the line, and it returns to normal only if the throttle has been open for 4.5 seconds, you’ve reached fourth gear, or the throttle has been closed. B-Mode is best used to get out of the gate in a hurry, but the conditions must be tacky. A smooth track helps with traction, but skill and reaction time are still the determining factors when it comes to getting holeshots.
We’re glad to see American Suzuki bring a competitive 450 to the market, and we feel this updated bike will help lead the brand out of some recent. And once come to grips with the tuning of its new fork, the new 2015 RM-Z450 will lead some races as well.

Ketua Umum Kadin Indonesia, Suryo Bambang Sulisto mengatakan, bila kondisi politik di DPR terus memanas, dikhawatirkan kebijakan pemerintahan baru Jokowi-JK bakal terus dihambat.

Wakil Ketua Umum Kadin Bidang Bulog dan Pemberdayaan Daerah, Natsir Mansyur mengatakan, pengusaha tak mau pemerintahan Jokowi-JK masih membuat pengusaha menderita.

Selama 10 tahun ini, menurut Natsir, pengusaha menderita karena pertumbuhan ekonomi hanya 5-6%. "Harusnya lebih dari itu," jelas Natsir.

APRILIA COME BACK

Piaggio CEO Roberto Colaninno has announced that Aprilia will return to MotoGP in 2015 with a four-year plan that will give the Noale specialist the time to fully develop what it expects will be a fully competitive motorcycle.
Now the obvious question: What will happen to Aprilia’s commitment in World Superbike? At this moment, the most realistic perspectives are for either strong factory support of a top team, or, in case no real top team should come forth, quit SBK, since the option of keeping the factory team is regarded as marginal.
Aprilia is not particularly pleased with the evolution of SBK rules for next year since it limits the technical advantages that the RSV4 had over the competition, especially those coming from the cassette-type gearbox and proprietary electronics, which are way ahead of anything fielded by the competition. At this stage, investing in MotoGP the vast experience gathered in SBK appears to be the most rational way not to waste a real wealth in top technologies.
Aprilia has, of course, already set foot in MotoGP, albeit through the back door. The RSV4-based CRT racers entrusted to Randy de Puniet and Aleix Espargaro proved their remarkable potential, having dominating the secondary category in 2012 and ’13. New “Open” rules killed a lot of that potential, and in 2014, only lonely Danilo Petrucci made the grid and with poor results, mainly because of the incompatibility of the Marelli ECU with the rest of the original electronics.

Putting everything together, Piaggio management came to the conclusion that going to MotoGP all the way was the most promising solution in terms of return on the racing investment. Aprilia is already working on the 2015 racer, which will be a transition bike, based on last year’s CRT with evolved and much lighter rolling gear and an evolution engine featuring the right electronics, pneumatic valves, and cylinders enlarged to the limit 81mm bore.
The new bike will come in 2016 and receive a real GP engine, much more compact and lighter, though it should keep the present 65-degree V-4 configuration. Aprilia will entrust its machines to Gresini Racing, one of the top “satellite” teams, now fielding a factory Honda. Gresini will have two bikes, one for its present rider, Alvaro Bautista, while the name of the second rider has not yet been announced. Rumors include the possibility of Marco Melandri migrating from Superbike back to MotoGP, but that is not final.
During its rich history, Aprilia has collected 294 wins, and 19 manufacturer and 19 rider world titles in the 125 and 250cc GP classes, plus 45 wins, and three manufacturer and two rider world titles in World Superbike. Gresini Racing has 40 wins and two world titles in the 250cc and Moto2 classes.
